Praise & Reviews

In many ways, it reminded me of days spent camping and hiking in New Mexico. A different experience, but engendering those feelings of connections to the land and to timeless ways of thinking.

I hope this is not the end of the story.

Good reading. Easy to get caught-up in the story line. A mix of some Navajo culture and 'coming of age' for the main character.

Very enjoyable.

More Than An Author

Through her writing, J. Brummet aims to bring the rich heritage and traditions of the Navajo people to a global audience, while also raising awareness about the issues faced by Native American communities. This includes showcasing Navajo Native American culture through her novel, to which it is intricately tied.
