Navajo Charity Organizations

J. Brummet’s novel is deeply inspired by her personal journey through Navajo land over 40 years ago, an experience that left her with profound respect for the people, culture, and stories that shaped her path. As a gesture of gratitude and ongoing support, she plans to donate a portion of her book’s proceeds to Navajo charities that honor and uplift the communities that inspired her work.

NavajoStrong was created to aid the Navajo community during the COVID-19 pandemic and economic crisis. We strive to honor our ancestors and empower the Diné by working hard to help citizens who are affected by disease, poverty, and other health disparities on the Navajo Reservation. We continue our support by focusing on self-sufficient projects that promote health, culture, and empowerment in long-term and meaningful ways.

The spirt of philanthropy is strong in our communities, and collectively we have increased awareness and are working to raise impactful dollars for important causes on the Navajo Nation and it's neighboring communities.

We aim to improve the quality of life on the reservation by providing opportunities to bring about positive changes in Native communities – delivering essential, life-changing supplies when they are needed most. Our Program Partners are local volunteers who have an intimate understanding of the needs of their communities.
